How to Access and Interpret Your Usage Dashboard

If you are an administrator for your institution, follow the steps below to access usage reports for COUNTER5 reporting and Informit Insights: 

Accessing Usage Reports

Step 1 

Navigate to search.informit.org and select Log in | Register in the top right corner of the screen. 

Step 2 

Select Individual Login | Register and sign in to your individual account. 

Step 3 

Once signed in, select your username from the top right corner and choose My Account.  

Step 4 

From the left menu, select Usage Reports.

The Usage Reports page provides access to all reporting options available to your organisation.

Accessing COUNTER5 reports

To acces COUNTER5 reports, select the option to Go to Atypon Insights. 

Choose a reporting period, including:

• Last available month

• This year

• Last year

• Custom date range

Choose the type of report you would like to generate, such as a Platform Master Report. 

Choose whether to:

• Generate the report and have it downloaded directly to your device, or

• Email the report to a nominated email address

Accessing Informit Insights 

To access the Insights dashboard, select the option to Go to Insights. 

The dashboard will open and display available usage and engagement metrics for your institution.
