Partnership Expressions of Interest

At Informit we are committed to continual development and refinement of our collections and welcome expressions of interest from potential publishing partners.

We host journals, magazines, books, reports and conference materials on our platform. Currently we can only accommodate content in PDF format.

Content selection is based on the following criteria:

  • relevance to the Australian and New Zealand region and Asia-Pacific focus
  • quality and peer-review
  • identified need for content in that subject area

We have recently expanded our content coverage with the launch of Informit Explore, to include teaching and learning tools for Australian and New Zealand schools.

You can find out more about the benefits of partnering with Informit here.

Where to send expressions of interest

Via the form here or email to support.informit@rmit.edu.au

Please include the following information:

  • publication name
  • publisher name
  • does your content sit behind a paywall or is it open access
  • examples of the content or a link to where it can be found online
  • contact details
  • other relevant information

Our curation team will assess whether your content is a suitable fit for Informit and we will respond promptly.

Our Client Representation agreements

We offer two partnership agreements.

The first provides royalties to publishers in exchange for use of their content in our databases.

The other option is an open access agreement. Under that arrangement your content will be freely available to anyone accessing it via our platform. Royalties are not paid under this arrangement.

Both agreements are non-exclusive and there is no cost to host and index your publication in our collections.

New content partnerships

New partners can expect to see their content on our platform in two to six weeks.

If your journal has a large archive, it will be indexed progressively starting with the latest issue back to the earliest.
