Use search facets to refine your search
Once you have run a search, Informit has an extensive range of facet filter options available to further refine your search. Available options display in the panel to the left of your results list.
The numbers displayed next to each option indicate the number of matching results retrieved for that specific option.
Use these options to filter your results:
- Access Type: Select the checkbox to ensure you see only results with full-text access approved by your subscription
- Publication Date: Drag the slider to limit your search to specific publication date ranges
- Author: Click an author’s name to retrieve results from that author
- Source: Click a source title to retrieve results from that title
- Resource Type: Click a resource type to retrieve results matching that type
- Limit To: Click an option to limit your search to Full Text | Peer Reviewed | Open Access; you can select any combination
- Databases: Click an option to filter results from specific databases
The Applied Filters show below the Access Type filter at the top of left panel.
