What is a permalink?
A permalink (i.e., permanent link) is the URL used to access a distinct Informit page or article. When additional information is added after a websites home address, or 'domain', this is called a slug. This slug allows you to skip a websites landing page to access specific web pages within that domain.
Examples of permalinks:
Page permalink: https://search.informit.org/search/advanced
Specific article on Informit: https://search.informit.org/doi/10.3316/informit.032596345948033
Search query permalink: https://search-informit-org-rmit-test.literatumonline.com/action/doSearch?ConceptID=513747
Informit has created permalinks to allow for the configuration of a search through URLs. Below are examples of permalinks for pre-configured searches for our individual databases:

AGIS | https://search.informit.org/?dbs=AGISPT |
If you require a permalink for any of our other collections or indexes, please get in touch with the team.
