Due to the technical nature of SSO implementation, we recommend engaging your IT department in the process.  **How It Works:** - Does not create individual user accounts - Validates credentials against your institution's identity management service - Grants access under your institution's license **Supported SSO Federations:** - AAF - Australian Access Federation (Shibboleth) - OpenAthens - Microsoft Azure AD SSO - Okta - Ping Federate **SSO Setup Process** **Implementation:** Add Informit as a 'Service Provider' to your SSO setup. To set up SSO with Informit, you'll need to provide: 1. **SAML XML File**: Access [this link](https://search.informit.org/pb-assets/shibboleth/search-informit-org.xml) to configure your system with your SAML metadata 2. **Signature Configuration**: Ensure you have a signature on the \ element for the SSO (required for authentication). There are different signing options for SAML response.
